Where is Fernwood Farm located?
- Fernwood Farm is located in the heart of the Lakes Region. We are 15 miles south of Lake Winnipesaukee; 17 miles north east of Concord; and 1 hour northwest of Portsmouth.
How many people can Fernwood Farm accommodate?
- Fernwood Farm’s outdoor reception site will accommodate tented parties up to 150 guests.
Does Fernwood Farm offer wedding packages?
- Yes, Fernwood Farm offers wedding packages and will take care of all the details through our Exclusive, Award-winning Event Coordinator, Leslie Barbini of The Wedding Belle. Leslie will provide everything necessary to give you the wedding of your dreams.
Does Fernwood Farm have rooms for rent or have indoor facilities for function use?
- No. Fernwood Farm does not have rooms for rent. However, there are two B&Bs within five miles of us in Historic Gilmanton Corners (see Resources). In addition, there are several major hotels either in the Laconia or Concord areas. Fernwood Farm only hosts tented weddings and events. .
Where can I find information about caterers, bands and accommodations?
- Our Exclusive Event Coordinator, Leslie Barbini of The Wedding Belle, will be able to assist you with recommendations for caterers, vendors, photographers, and bands. We can also refer you to local caterers who use locally grown and certified organic products and produce.
When are weddings hosted at Fernwood Farm?
- Fernwood Farm’s outdoor reception site, accommodating up to 150 guests, is open from June until mid-October. We only book one wedding per weekend which means available dates go quickly.
What if it rains?
- The Wedding Belle specializes in tented weddings and events. Leslie will help you choose the perfect tent for your wedding or event.
What about parking?
- Fernwood Farm has parking available for up to 100 cars. The parking area is in the first field as you enter the driveway and it is connected to the event site by a gravel road. We provide parking for limousine, handicapped, and elderly parking close to the tented event site, as well as, a separate parking area for service and vendor vehicles. We also provide a golf cart to bring guests to and from the parking area to the event site.
Can I use my own caterer or other vendors?
- Yes, this is something you will discuss with our exclusive event planner, Leslie Barbini of The Wedding Belle. All vendors must be licensed and insured.
How much will it cost?
- Prices for the Wedding Packages depend on which package you choose, the type of event, the number of guests, and duration. Please contact Leslie Barbini of The Wedding Belle for more information and a price quote for your wedding or event.
